TULSI-PANEER TIKKA

INGREDIENTS :
250 gms paneer ( cottage cheese )
1/4 cup tulsi leaves ( basil leaves )
2 tbspn ghee ( clarified butter )
1 tbspn lemon juice
1/4 cup coriander leaves
2-3 green chillies
1 tspn roasted jeera ( cumin seeds )
1 tbspn besan ( gram flour )
1 inch piece of ginger
1 tbspn fresh cream
1 tbspn cashewnut paste
1/2 tspn chaat masala
Salt to taste

METHOD :
Cut the paneer into cubes or one inch thick strips and sprinkle salt on them and keep aside for 45 mins.
Blend together tulsi leaves , coriander leaves , green chillies , roasted jeera , ginger with little water in a blender , to get a smooth paste.
To this paste add salt , fresh cream , besan and mix well.
Then marinate the paneer pieces in the above paste and keep them aside for minimum of 2 hrs.
Skewer the paneer pieces , brush them with ghee and grill them in an oven at 180 degree celcius for about 8-10 mins.
Turn the skewers periodically and brush them with ghee .
When done , sprinkle lemon juice and chaat masala over the tikkas and serve piping hot…..ENJOYYYYY
